Squeaky grandma
Recent questions have caused me to realize that I should probably explain my URL. My blog name “Jennifer Leialoha” is perfectly normal, being that it is my first and middle name, (yes, I am a mostly Caucasian and part Hawaiian woman with an actual Hawaiian name) but my URL “squeaky grandma” could be misleading.
No, I’m not really a grandmother. I’m 21 years old. And when I was 18, my two dear friends christened me with the name “squeaky grandma” because of a combination of our mutual love of mad libs, my affinity for knit sweaters and slow, cautious driving, and a host of other matronly qualities.
My friend actually drew up a comic to explain the whole process, and perhaps someday I will post it to further my explanation, but tonight I’m too lazy, and this rambling will have to do.
